Join a Community with ONLY the tools you need to start finding peace and calm TODAY.
No flashy promises. No fancy marketing. No gurus. No endless courses.Â
Â
Learn the frameworks, use them in real life, get help when you need it. Simple.
(Just so we're clear, this isn't meditating or some "out there" approach. It's practical, easy to understand and results driven, with support when you want it.)
Welcome to the "Finding Peace" Community.
Â
That's all we want really, isn't it?
We get to a certain point (or age) and the stress of being stressed just seems like it's not worth it anymore. We crave that quiet mind. That steady heartbeat. That version of ourselves that doesn't explode over nothing, and can just sit and enjoy life a little more.Â
And then the kids get home. Or your partner says something sideways. Or you open your mouth and immediately wish you hadn't.
And that peace you'd imagined? Gone. Again.
Here's the thing about staying calm...
It's not about having the perfect life where nothing triggers you. It's about building your library of what works for you. It's understanding the underlying factors that have caused you to be off balance for years, and know exactly how to retrain and recalibrate them. That's Charlie and Dai in my books - your primitive brain, Charlie, and your inner "monster" Dai, the accumulation of all your learned behaviour that pokes his head out when we aren't prepared.
This is a skill that can be learned, not simply a mindset to adopt.
The mindset comes naturally with the development of the skill of understanding what influences every situation you've ever experienced, and will experience.
We've never been taught how to find that space consistently while also understanding what's trying to pull us out of that space. That's your inner workings thatÂ
Think about driving. You didn't learn once and master it forever. You learnt by doing, practising, driving in different conditions, in different vehicles, making mistakes, remembering which roads have the worst potholes, which roundabouts make you sweaty, how to spot the drivers who haven't had their coffee yet.
You built a mental catalogue of "if this, then that" until it became automatic.
It may have been a bit scary or nerve-wracking at first, but the more you did it, the more skills you honed, the less scary and nerve-wracking it became.
You learned to recognise what could cause a problem, and what will get you where you want to go. You learned not to react to every situation, or be the person who puts other people in harm's way - at least not intentionally.
This is great for daily stuff, but what if you level up? What if you want to race cars, or ride a motorcycle? The same basics apply, but you need guidance to get good at it, and it helps to get feedback to see where you can get better.
Finding peace and being non-reactive works the same way, only we're not given lessons, there is no aptitude test and the signs are poorly lit or non-existent!
Most people trundle along in the middle lane never thinking they can be better (in the UK that's a big no-no!!) but I'm guessing you're not one of those people. You want to be better. You want to know how you can improve. Not because you've done anything wrong (deliberately I hope!), but because you want to know those little skills and nuances that can make the journey of life easier, calmer, more enjoyable, and of course, more peaceful.
You need your own library of moments where you figured it out, where you caught yourself, where you tried something different and it actually worked. You need a way to read the signs, yours and other people's, with greater accuracy, and know what to do when they come up suddenly.
This community is that place to build YOUR library.
A place to learn the basics (quickly and easily) put them into practice, share what works for you, what doesn't, and what you noticed. Also, what you're trying next. No judgment. No "you should have just breathed deeply", or "you need to do...". Just real people navigating real situations and building real peace, one moment at a time.
I noticed this isn't for "parenting" or "relationships" or "personal growth" specifically, which areas does it help with and can I get help with?
Who am I to host this community?
I'm Nolan. A lifelong trainer who figured out how to stay calm after being spectacularly bad at it in my personal life.
A dad with ADHD who didn't realise how much his nervous system was running the show (Dai). A trainer who could teach and "life coach" multiple rooms of teens and twenty somethings but couldn't regulate himself enough to stop snapping at his own kids (Charlie). A wellness professional who knew all the theory but couldn't make it stick when it mattered.
I'm not here because I'm perfect. I'm here because I needed to crack the code for myself, and I've been helping other people crack theirs ever since.
That's why I wrote 10 books on understanding yourself and connecting, including "Reaction Intelligence" and "Charlie and Dai's Guide To Not Losing It!" (and 2 books on "The Art of Non-Sexual Foreplay!")
My strength has always been getting people off the ground, from dancing, to sales, to marketing, massage, hospitality and more. When you have a really strong foundational understanding of anything, the rest gets easier and easier. That's what I do here, give you an unshakeable foundation in understanding yourself that will help you for the rest of your life.
Yup, that's me talking to my inner Dai over breakfast - You'll get used to that!
What's with the monster and chimp? Is this for kids?
Why a community and not a lengthy course or 100 videos?
Because most of us don't need loads more information. We need a place to process, test things out, and get a nudge in the right direction from someone who has been there, failed and made it through (that's me!). Especially helpful if you have ADHD - although this format works really well for people who don't too!
Long courses are brilliant for some people. But if you're anything like me (ADHD, short on focus, kinaesthetic, practical) , you don't want to sit through twelve modules before you get to the bit that helps you not lose your shit at teatime today.
You want frameworks you can actually use in multiple situations. Real stories from people trying the same things. A place to ask "Is anyone else finding this impossible?" and have someone say "Yes, and here's what worked for me..."
This isn't therapy. It's not coaching. It's not another "just be more mindful" group.
It's a space for people who are done with losing their peace every time life gets messy, and ready to build something that actually lasts.
It's for people who are ready for someone to be direct with them and know that's what they need, even though it may be uncomfortable at times.
How does this really help with ADHD?
Where You Might Be Right Now
- The same situations keep setting you off, no matter how many times you promise yourself "not this time"
- You can handle stress at work but come home with nothing left for the people who matter most
- You've read the books, tried the breathing exercises, but still find yourself mid-explosion wondering how you got there again
- You know what you should do, but in the moment, that knowledge disappears completely
- Feeling like you're the only one who can't seem to crack this whilst everyone else has it sorted
- Sensing there's a pattern underneath all this, but can't quite see what it is
What Happens Inside This Community
- You learn the actual mechanics of why you react—not just what to do about it after
- You interrupt patterns at the source instead of trying to manage the fallout
- You get practical frameworks that work when your brain's already offline
- You're surrounded by people who get it—no pretending, no performing
- You have daily support and real-time answers when you're stuck, not "wait until next week's session"
- You stop feeling broken and start seeing exactly where your wiring got crossed—and how to rewire it
Setting Expectations
There aren't 10,000 people in the community. This is a new project based on feedback from my most recent books that I know will help people who are ready to learn the basics, give it a try in the real world, and be ready for straightforward guidance when they need or want help.Â
I'll be in here almost every day, helping, training, guiding, answering questions. All I ask is that you go through the few short videos to learn the frameworks so we're all working from the same playbook.
This also isn't a hands -off membership. I'm in here every day (unless I'm on holiday or dealing with something that needs my full attention, and I'll let you know!) That's why it's $97 per month and not $7 or $29.
I also want to spend more time here, offer coaching sessions for members at no extra cost and create more helpful guides based on what YOU need.
I am transparent and not here to be flashy or convince you that you need this. You know if you do, and this is a reminder it's time to do something about it!
If you want to see what kind of person I am, take a look at my linkedin profile and the unsolicited testimonials.
